Every fact ever discovered started with the “induction” of new data points. These new points improve the accuracy of the information, which is the raw material in the production of more accurate knowledge.
It has been this way since man became a thinking being a couple hundred thousand years ago. These first Learning Conversations were almost certainly about how to stay alive in a very dangerous world, where our status at the top of the food chain was consistently challenged – first by non-Homo sapiens, with a later shift to fellow Homo sapiens.
If the knowledge survives it often becomes known as wisdom – something that is true in any known situation. For example, in physics, the speed of light is a “constant” that can be used confidently in the design of any system that uses light or other Electro-Magnetic waves such as electricity.
Thrive may look and feel at first like a survey or learning management system, but as one looks closer, the nuances of our system, such as our deep understanding of Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA), set us apart from typical survey engines.
Thrive can design programs around the principles of EMA, which have shown over several decades to be the “Gold Standard” for the collection of data and information from a distracted or disinterested individual (the majority of human beings).
Thrive Conversational Learning Programs can be adjusted according to the feedback gained from the EMA Experiences, retaining their relevancy.
As one example, this may be the need for a follow on question to understand why an individual isn’t entering all they know about their clients into the multi-million dollar Salesforce System. Instead of just accepting that they aren’t using it, Thrive helps understand better why trust and or motivation is so low. In another, it may be to shift to a conversation on why a patient suffering from sleep apnea won’t use their prescribed device to help alleviate the symptoms of the disease.
Our Chief Scientist at Thrive worked with the creator of this methodology, opening a door to understanding the quirks and limits of simple self-reported data collected by survey systems like Survey Monkey or old bubble chart systems like Qualtrics.
Like all good applications of science being used to benefit the population, people don’t need to understand the underlying science. They get to appreciate the benefits of the science in their pursuit of better days with more confidence through the knowledge gained through a 2-minute Thrive Experience.
The fact that Thrive uses advanced scientific theories to collect better data means we can deliver more complete and in-depth information that moves to a verifiable Knowledge State more quickly than any other feedback system available. This allows our clients to make smarter decisions with more confidence, in shorter time frames.
